| (a) Why to become a member :
If you become a member of the Association, the Association will protect your rights and interest; provide policy support, represent to the Govt / Public Bodies and Authorities on your behalf for removing grievances and meeting your legitimate demands and secure beneficial facilities in the from of duties / Taxes, issue recommendation for issuing and renewal of Customs Bond License, release of imported spare parts and machineries from the ports at reduced rates of Duties and Taxes as per SRO No. 165-Law/2005/2082/VAT/Date: 09.06.2005 and SRO No. 168-Law/2008/2196/VAT/ Date: 26.06.2008
(b) How to become member of BLMEA :
Please fill up the enclosed Form and submit to Association's office along with the requisite fee (Admission fee Tk. 10,000/- + Annual Subscription @Tk. 2000/- P.M. (for the actual months of the year) and with the following papers / documents:-
- Copy of Trade License
- Copy M&A/A in case of limited company
- Copy of registration with the Board of Investment
- Copy of IRC / ERC if any
- List machineries etc.
